Hustlers get the jump on Rollers on home turf | Gladstone Observer

The team currently has as many derby players as it ever has, meaning a lot of competition just for skaters to get into the bout squad. “It is definitely the biggest we have had,” coach Charlie Keenan said. “I have 20 girls skating now for 14 spots for a bout so they make my job hard.” As with most of the home bouts in recent times for the Hustlers, a good crowd was at the PCYC for the bout, which included a bout between Mackay and Paradise City before the main Hustlers vs Raw Stars. Keenan was impressed with the support that Gladstone has shown roller derby.
